Indian Prime Minister , Narendra Modi is the most popular person in the world right now. He was born on 17th September 1950 to a family of grocers in Vadnagar Mehsana district , Bombay state ( present day Gujarat) . As a child , Modi helped his father to sell tea at the Vadnagar railway station and later ran a tea stall with his brother near a bus terminus. His journey from selling tea to becoming the prime minister of India is inspiring to each one of us. In the school ,he was an average student but a keen debater , he had an early gift for rhetoric in debates , he preferred playing larger than life characters in theatrical productions, and this has made him into a fine tuned orator, and he has delivered some of the best speeches which has inspired not only the Indians but many foreigners as well. His speeches are so engaging and meaningful that people want to hear and applaud him more. At the age of 8 , he started taking training sessions in RSS ( Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) through which he got acquainted with many politicians and BJP workers. In the year 2001 , Modi was sworn as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, a lot of economic development was done in Gujarat and Gujrat became the model state of India. All this was possible because of this one man Narendra Modi , and his one man show of making Gujarat a model state of India took him a long way towards making him the Prime Minister of India in the year 2014. As a Prime minister of India , he took many initiatives like ” Digital India” which ensured that government services are available electronically. Providing high speed internet access to rural areas. The “Make in India” initiative was implemented to boost entrepreneurship in India. “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” this campaign was launched to achieve the vision of a “Clean India” by 2019. “Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana”, this initiative was to provide banking services to all households in the country. He also brought a slew of schemes in the health care division, to provide health care to economically backward section of the society. His government introduced GST (Goods and Service Tax) , a single tax all over the country. Rural electrification gained momentum under the Modi government with large number of villages getting connected to the electricity grid. Yoga got importance by Modi, with UNO announcing 21st June as International Yoga day. After winning the hearts of millions of Indians , he has been elected as the Prime Minister of India for the second time. He is truly God sent gift to the Indians, and we hope to see India become a fully Developed Country in the near future. Having seen the Modi rule in India, here are some of his qualities which needs a big applause, Setting an example as a leader, Understanding people, Acting confidently, being a visionary leader, powerful public speaker, very decisive, powerful networker, Courageous and a Charismatic character. Having said this, I once again feel Mr. Narendra Modi is the most Popular person in the world right now.
